DILIJAN WINE FEST gathered more than 4,000 guests at Khanjian Villa
On August 5 and 6, Dilijan Wine Fest was held on the territory of Aghasi Khanjyan's villa in Dilijan with the support of the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. More than 4,000 guests attended the event. The festival brought together 40 wineries from Armenia and Artsakh.
In addition to the wine fair and tastings, there was live music at the festival – performances by the duo Garik & Sona, the rock band Lav Eli and yellowheart. On the territory of the festival, guests attended a sabrage master class, cocktail workshops, a wine casino and an open-air film screening.
All revenue from Dilijan Wine Fest will be directed to the projects of the public movement "Front for Security and Development of Artsakh". These projects provide primary assistance to residents who have been under siege for more than six months. Many activities of Dilijan Wine Fest this year were related to the support of the republic: the guests learned how to bake the Artsakh cake zhengyalov hatz and saw the traditional Artsakh ceremony of crushing grapes.
"For us, Dilijan Wine Fest is an example of excellent cooperation and cooperation in support of Artsakh. This format of the festival solves several tasks at once: many people discover the wines of Armenia, and at the same time learn more about Artsakh. The visitors and participants of the festival expressed their solidarity with the people of the republic - there were words and support from the stage, the flags of Artsakh from the winemakers and guests. We are grateful to the festival for its cooperation and assistance. Now we are identifying projects that need primary support — the proceeds from Dilijan Wine Fest will go to them in the near future," said Tevan Poghosyan, coordinator of the public platform "Artsakh Security and Development Front" in Armenia.
The festival was organized by TimeTo creative agency with the support of Impulse Management Company. The general sponsor of the festival is the fintech platform EasyPay. The festival's partner is Freedom Broker Armenia. The festival was organized with the assistance of The Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia.
